Encinitas is a beach city in the North County area of San Diego County, California. Five areas make up this surf town; Old Encinitas, New Encinitas, Olivenhain, Leucadia, Cardiff-by-the-Sea.

Surfer Magazine named Encinitas one of the top ten surf spots in the nation.

Quaint shops, sidewalk cafes and upscale restaurants dot the city’s coastline. The warm San Diego sunshine lets you enjoy the beautiful parks, beaches and trails year-round.

Encinitas has a very mild, Mediterranean climate. The average daily high temperature is 72 degrees with an average annual rainfall of about 10 inches.

Encinitas Neighborhoods

Old Encinitas: A small beachside community featuring a mix of businesses and housing styles. Home to the famous surf break, Swamis.
